System Settings

Here’s how you can configure your home system, check devices, and set system parameters:

System Settings

  1. General: View information about your HubSwitch, set the local timezone (which doesn’t affect scheduling), and check WiFi status and signal strength.
  2. Device Settings: 
    • Review the HubSwitch’s channel configuration (set with the dip switches on the back of the HubSwitch, choose 4 channel heating or 3 channel heating and hot water when set in the 4 channel configuration) and to see what channels are currently active.
    • Set the time and day that the Radiator Heads automatically calibrate.
    • If paired with the system, configure the settings for the underfloor heating connection box(es), pump delay on/off & the switching differential.
  3. Boost Buttons: Configure the actions and duration for Boost Buttons when pressed on the HubSwitch.
  4. Mode Options:
    • System Mode: Choose between Heating or OFF and set the Antifreeze temperature.
    • Room Temperature Restrictions: (Owner only) Set minimum and maximum temperature limits for the room.
    • Holiday Mode: Set start and end dates/times for turning off heating while you’re away.
    • Open Window Detection: Define the temperature drop needed within 2 minutes to activate Open Window Mode and set the heating pause duration.
    • Scheduling Adaptive Mode: Edit the list of rooms for Adaptive Mode and set its maximum duration.
    • Radiator Head Mode: Test radiator heads performance by fully opening or closing all radiator heads,adjust the algorithm radiator heads work with (PID, Limited PID or On/Off),set the minimum heating value that the heads need to open before requesting heat and the switching differential if the algorithm is set to “On/Off”.
  1. OpenTherm: (Available with OpenTherm connection) Check the communication status of the OpenTherm connection.

Installation & More

  1. Boiler: Check boiler status. With OpenTherm, you can set the boiler temperature setpoint. Premium Plan users can also use Boiler Setpoint Modulation orWeather Compensation.
  2. Devices: View all connected devices, identify what room a device is paired with, see detailed information (battery levels, signal strength) and add new devices if needed.
  3. System Location: Set your system’s location for Geo-Fencing and Weather Compensation (available in the Premium Plan).
  4. Transfer Code: Create a new code to transfer the system to a new owner.
  5. Share System: With the Premium Plan, invite up to 3 cohabitants and define their privileges: Full or Read-Only.
  6. Voice Control: Follow instructions to connect your system with Alexa or Google Assistant.
  7. Backup: (Available in the Premium Plan) Archive your system configuration and automatically restore it if you need to replace the HubSwitch or perform a factory reset.
