Alarms in the Application
Hub Switch Alarms
OpenTherm communication has been interrupted
Arrange for a professional to check the connection between the hub and boiler. Ensure the boiler is switched on and supports OpenTherm.
Service required
Contact a qualified boiler service engineer for maintenance or inspection.
Lockout-reset
Reset the boiler according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Check for the cause of the lockout (e.g., fuel shortage, ignition problem).
Low water press
Check the water pressure in the heating system and refill if it is too low.
Gas/flame fault
Contact an authorised service engineer; there may be an ignition or gas supply issue.
Air press fault
Check the fan and air ducts for blockages; sometimes a boiler restart is sufficient.
Water over-temp
Check the boiler water temperature and safety valves; service may be required.
Thermostat Alarms
Low battery
Replace the thermostat batteries.
No communication
Check the wireless connection between the thermostat and hub. Ensure it is within range. Check the batteries are working
Temperature sensor error
Check the floor temperature sensor or its wiring; replace the sensor if faulty.
Humidity sensor error
The thermostat is faulty. Contact Wunda support
External temperature sensor error
The thermostat is faulty. Contact Wunda support
Firmware update available
Update the thermostat firmware via the Wunda app. Note: ensure that the batteries are fully charged.
Radiator Head Alarms
Low battery
Replace the batteries in the Radiator head.
No communication
Check the connection and range between the Radiator head and the Hub Switch. Check the batteries are working
Calibration error
Perform a recalibration of the Radiator head following the instructions.
Temperature sensor error
The Radiator Head is faulty. Contact Wunda support
Reset
The head resets after battery depletion; ensure new batteries are fully charged. If replacing the batteries doesn’t help, contact Wunda support.
Firmware update available
Update the head firmware via the Wunda app. Note: ensure that the batteries are fully charged.
Smart Switch Alarms
Low battery
Replace batteries if applicable.
No communication
Check the wireless connection between the relay and hub. Check the power source or batteries if applicable
Firmware update available
Update the relay firmware via the Wunda app.
Room Alarms
Detected window opening
Close the window or disable the window detection function in the app if the window remains open. Or adjust the value for open window detection in system settings > mode options
The floor temperature is too high
Check the underfloor heating flow temperature, if possible increase the temperature limit in the app, and check the floor installation temperature settings. Check the floor temperature reading, vs readings taken from an air temperature sensor pointed at the floor.
