How do I use the Child Lock Function?

The Child Lock function can be found in the Room Settings menu. This function locks all your devices paired to that room so they cannot be tampered with.

To unlock them you can turn off the Child Lock function in the app.

Square Thermostat

Or, if you have a Square thermostat you can unlock the thermostat manually.

To manually lock and unlock your Smart Square Thermostat, press O to enter the ‘Set to’ screen. Then press + and O for 20 seconds.

This will unlock all the devices in the room, they might take up to 4 minutes to be responsive after unlocking from the room thermostat.
