How to create and configure a Room?
With Wunda Home, it’s possible to control up to 30 rooms or zones!
To create a new room you need to have a Smart Thermostat or a Smart Radiator Head.
For Radiators / Central Heating Systems:
NOTE: Find out which central heating channel your room is connected to. Commonly houses have 1 or 2 Heating Channels (whole home or downstairs/upstairs), check with your installer if you are unsure.
- Choose Create Room at the top of the Rooms list, and follow further steps.
- Write the Room name and click Create Room.
- Choose the Room Image by clicking on top banner image.
- Go to the bottom of the screen and click Add Device. See: “How to add devices?”
Note: You need to have a Smart Thermostat and/or Smart Radiator Head(s) installed in Your room (depending on the number of radiators in that room). - At Room -> Settings scroll down and open the Advanced parameters tab and configure your room to trigger the correct channel.
Note: If You have more than one channel available, confirm or ask your installer which channel is correct for that Room.
All Room Settings You can change any time from the Room -> Settings screen.
For Underfloor Heating:
NOTE: Find out which manifold loop/ actuator(s) you want your thermostat and connection box to control for each room with underfloor heating. You will need to configure each room to the correct floor heating channel(s) in your Smart Connection Box.
- Choose Create Room from the menu at the top of the Rooms list, and follow further steps.
- Type the Room name and click Create Room.
- Choose the Room Image by clicking on top banner image.
- Go to the bottom of the screen and click Add Device. See: “How to add devices?”
Note: You need to have a Smart Thermostat installed in Your room. - In Room Settings, open the Advanced parameters tab and configure your room to the correct floor heating channel(s) in your Smart Connection Box. Please remember to also select Relay if using the internal relay in the Connection Box to trigger the heat source/zone valve for the underfloor heating.
Note: Ask Your installer which manifold loop(s)/ actuator is connected to the Room.
All Room Settings You can change your selection at any time in the Room -> Settings screen scrolling down to the Advanced parameters section.
